about us

Steven Dona

Steve earned his architectural degree from the University of Washington in 1985. Following graduation, Steve worked for a high-end construction firm where he developed a thorough understanding of architectural techniques and practices. Additionally, Steve has taught classes at Bellevue College in building construction and interior design. Steve and his family enjoy biking, skiing, sailing and wind surfing. For Steve, architecture provides a perfect blend of art, science, and creativity.

Scott Tholen

For over a decade, we have counted on Scott for his critical eye and great sense of design. Scott graduated from Washington State University in 1995 with a degree in architecture. As expected, this leads to frequent cougar vs. husky friendly rivalry within the office. Scott enjoys hiking, classic cars, and camping with his family. His passion for national park lodge architecture has led him across the United States with the goal of visiting every national park lodge.
